Introduction TRIANGLE Partnerships for Fair and Effective Labour Migration in ASEAN (TRIANGLE Partnerships) is a five-year (2026-2030) regional labour migration programme funded by the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC). It aims to ensure that ASEAN migrant workers’ access to skills development and protection is strengthened, and the effectiveness of regular labour pathways is enhanced, increasing the development impact of labour migration. The programme has a regional scope with a focus on the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). Country level programming will be pursued in eight countries including Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Thailand and Timor Leste. Noting the importance the ILO and programme development partners are placing on effective monitoring and evaluation (M&E), The TRIANGLE Partnerships management team will include dedicated M&E and Knowledge Management Officer. Within the policy and procedural requirements established by the ILO, and in coordination with the TRIANGLE Partnerships Chief Technical Adviser (CTA) and other TRIANGLE staff, the M&E Officer will be responsible for the development and implementation of the M&E plan for the programme, contribute towards knowledge management including documentation on lessons learned, good practices and recommendations for targeted piloted activities; contributes to technical progress reports; provide support with the planning and coordination of evaluations; and contribute to the development and conduct of research studies under the programme.
