Senior Manager, FUS (Facilities, Utilities & Sustainability)

Based at our Chon Buri, Thailand plant, this role is a key engineering and project leadership position with regional responsibility, including oversight of FUS (Facilities, Utilities & Sustainability) for our Enstek, Malaysia plant. You will lead the delivery of critical capital projects across our Snacks facilities, partnering with plant teams, regional engineering, central functions and external partners to create safe, sustainable, compliant and high-performing manufacturing environments. You will: • Lead FUS capital projects across Snacks facilities, utilities and infrastructure, from concept and design through to implementation and completion. • Drive civil, utilities and sustainability projects, ensuring solutions meet business needs while delivering against safety, quality, compliance and sustainability objectives. • Shape vendor and contractor strategies, including developing RFPs, supporting vendor selection and managing key external partners. • Own construction execution, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, to the required quality standards and in compliance with local regulations and authorities. • Provide regional FUS leadership, acting as the key representative for civil, facilities, utilities, contractor management and sustainability matters within the Mars Snacking regional project team. • Connect stakeholders across the region, working closely with plant leadership, vendors, Mars Snacking Regional Engineering and central functions including EHS, FM Global and QFS. • Build technical capability within the plants, developing local resources and strengthening FUS expertise and project delivery capability. • Champion Mars Supply Excellence (MSE) through a leader-led approach, with a strong focus on elevating FUS standards, performance and ways of working. • Manage across borders, balancing the priorities of the Chon Buri plant with FUS leadership and support for the Enstek, Malaysia operation. This is an opportunity to make a visible impact beyond a single site — leading major infrastructure and sustainability initiatives while shaping FUS capability across two key Mars Snacking plants in Southeast Asia. A Taste of What You'll Be Doing • Large scale capital project planning, execution & budgeting – Green field/brown field/existing facilities FUS related capital project budget range from USD 0.5m – 3m. Location coverage inclusive of all Snacks manufacturing facilities in AMEA. • Capital spend forecasting – Provide details forecasting of capital spend on all capital project related to FUS. • Technical COE in Snacks manufacturing facilities – Work closely with plant Tech COE lead on technology management for FUS elements ensuring standardization of civil technology being implemented. We're Looking for Someone With • Bachelors’ Degree in Civil Engineering (or related field) and 10 years related work experience. • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and operate in a collaborative project environment. • Strong & demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills. • Strong & systematic organizational skills with close attention to details. • Strong understanding of manufacturing factory utilities and building management systems. • Experience in civil construction, utilities & sustainability works in the region. • Experience working with operations, procurement, & supply chain. • Applied knowledge of machine safety requirements, good manufacturing practices, and facilities hygienic design. • Project Management experience. • Strong computer skills are a pre-requisite.
