Environmental Engineer

About the role The Environmental Engineer is responsible for managing environmental compliance, safety, and sustainability operations at ARBT 1, with registration at ARBT 4. This role reports to the GM / HR Manager and operates within the HR & Safety function. Key responsibilities • Obtain and maintain licenses for environment control (Water, Air, Gas & LPG) • Manage environmental permits and licenses from local government • Ensure legal obligations and reports to government, WHA, and coordinate with neighbours • Manage boiler utilities and government reporting • Oversee chemical management and hazardous substances • Manage waste (hazardous, industrial, general) and industrial waste transportation with permits and reports • Manage fire alarm systems, equipment, and conduct PM audits • Conduct SHE patrols and toolbox talks • Administer SHE TIP, quizzes, and activities • Investigate incidents and manage contractor/supplier coordination for environmental matters About you • Bachelor's degree in Environmental studies or related field • 5 years or more experience in manufacturing environment, environmental aspects, and pollution management • Good knowledge of Environmental Laws & Regulations • Good computer skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) • Car driving ability • Public speaking capability • Certifications in Chemical management, Pollution management, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 • Good physical abilities
