Environmental Specialist

Responsibilities: • Provide comprehensive oversight and strategic governance for all environmental aspects pertaining to the Waste Management Platform's operations. • Ensure absolute compliance with national and local environmental statutes, encompassing adherence to the Department of Industrial Work’s operational license and specific mandates detailed within the Environment and Safety Assessment (ESA) report while. • Drive the harmonization of INSEE’s environmental obligations and standards across the entire ecosystem—including internal departments, contractors, and suppliers—ensuring universal alignment with Group Policy and directives. • Owning the end-to-end process for submitting all comprehensive environmental reports. • Drive and maintain the operational integrity of critical environmental management systems (e.g., ISO 14001 EMS) • Direct rigorous environmental monitoring programs across operational sites, including the management of independent third-party consultants. • Lead post-environmental incident investigations and managed complaint resolution processes to implement systemic corrective actions and mitigate future risks. • Perform other related duties as assigned by management. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science. • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the environmental management and compliance fields specifically within heavy industrial environments such as oil & gas operations, large-scale manufacturing facilities, or complex factory settings. Knowledge Areas • Thai national laws and regulations on environment • ISO14001: Environmental Management System (EMS) • Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) • Environmental monitoring methods (US.EPA.)
