Corporate Sustainability Management

Summary of Responsibilities: • Responsible for developing, implementing, and managing CKPOWER and its subsidiaries Sustainability strategy and program, interpret to branding & marketing strategies, marketing communications, public relations and corporate sustainability and CSR activities. • Delivers CKPOWER and its subsidiaries’ corporate Sustainability initiatives to demonstrate commitment to the company’s purpose and values to key stakeholders, our investors, and our communities. • Enhances reputation, and supports the organization’s culture, purpose, and values through sustainability assessment, tools and award recognitions • Create and drive awareness and visibility of our corporate responsibility initiatives across multiple stakeholder groups. • Provide insights and input into sustainability strategies and incorporate emerging opportunities and expectations of our customers as well as corporate ESG goals. • Implement and maintain a process to track actual results against commitments and report program performance outcomes to key stakeholders. • Develop and strengthen Corporate Sustainability Team. • Educate CKPower and its subsidiaries employee to have correct understanding on sustainability and to have sustainable way of working Main Responsibilities: Sustainability Management • Leads research and analysis used to develop corporate sustainability strategies to ensure that business practices, products, and services are environmentally friendly and compliant with government rules and regulations. • Monitor sustainability reporting trends and KPIs to advance company performances on external reporting obligations and practices • Monitor the company’s sustainability targets and commitments • Develop strategic partnership with local and global sustainability organizations and entities (e.g., UN SDGs, WBCSD, GRI Standards, CDP, UNGC, SBTi, SASB, TGO, IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards (IFRS S1 and IFRS S2), International Hydropower Association: IHA) to seek collaborations and contribute to global/national agenda initiatives • Coaching & training educational and training materials on Sustainability for functional groups • Lead Sustainability Committee to provide direction and support to functional groups, working with relevant departments to align Sustainability goals and processes across all functions of the company including; O&M, Supply Chain, Finance, Safety, HR, General Administration, Corporate communication, Sustainability working team • Develop and manage the CKP’s Annual Sustainability Report and CKP’s Sustainability Report, outlining the CKP's ESG-related initiatives, performance, and outcomes in compliance with internationally recognized sustainability standards, disclosure frameworks, and sustainability assessment criteria, including but not limited to GRI Standards, IFRS S1 and S2, S&P Global CSA, CDP, FTSE Russell ESG Ratings and UNGC • Track Sustainability metrics in alignment with the key sustainability assessment frameworks and ESG rating programs including S&P Global CSA, CDP, FTSE Russell ESG Ratings and COP UNGC • Liaise with external on sustainability assurance and audit process • Collaborate closely with the Sustainability Working Team at each operational site to develop and drive sustainability initiatives in alignment with the Company’s corporate sustainability strategy and ESG objectives • Identify and prioritize improvement projects aimed at lowering impact to the environment and costs to the business. • Initiate sustainability innovation and CSR in process for all sites • Manage communications plan to drive awareness of the company’s corporate responsibility initiatives, including supporting the development of the Corporate Sustainability report in website and printing • Prepare report for FTSE Russell ESG Ratings, S&P Global CSA, other CSA programs as required • Review key points to communicate in Thai and English for annual performance, sustainability, and CSR program progress for internal and external to be inline with corporate sustainability strategy and company roadmap • Visit assigned power plants to complete projects, monitor performance and improvement • Other duties as assigned • Work closely with corporate branding and PR team and the Sustainability Working Team Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Sustainability, Environment management or engineering, Business Administration, Science or related fields. • At least 5 years of experience in sustainability management, ESG communications, stakeholder engagement, or other related fields is preferred • Good knowledge in sustainability standard /guideline and tools/ sustainability CSA (e.g. ISO26000, GRI Standards, IFRS S1 and S2, SASB, UNGC, SBTi, S&P Global CSA and FTSE Russell ESG Ratings) and broad knowledge of key sustainability topics and trends (e.g. sustainable finance, climate change, data and technology innovation) • Ability to capture key points and effectively summarize information. In addition, skill in storytelling and writing are an advantage • Ability to address potential ESG/ Sustainability issues and improve existing ideas in a way that manage business risk and increase new opportunities. Skilled in moving from analysis to action development or performance improvement. • Passionate about making a meaningful impact through executing programs as well as engaging with stakeholders to inform and excite • Experience with ESG reporting and ratings frameworks • Project management experience • Commitment to working with shared leadership and in cross-functional teams
