Health, Safety, and Sustainability Consultant (Phuket, Thailand)

We are looking for a Health, Safety & Sustainability Consultant to join in Phuket, Thailand. Someone who not only understands the principles of health and safety in the tourism sector but can also apply them and communicate them clearly and effectively in day-to-day operations. What will your role be? 📋 You will on the assessment, implementation and monitoring of health and safety standards in hotels and tourism destinations. You will be the person on the ground helping hotel teams comply with applicable regulations and improve their day-to-day practices. What will you do on a daily basis? 🔧 • Conduct health, safety and hygiene inspections and audits in hotels to identify risks and areas for improvement. • Deliver training sessions and provide guidance to operational teams on health and safety procedures. • Assess facilities and processes to ensure compliance with local and international regulations. • Prepare technical reports and follow up on action plans with clear and practical recommendations. • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to resolve operational issues and queries. • Keep up to date with regulations and best practices in health and safety within the tourism sector. What are we looking for? 🔍 • University Degree in Biology, Nutrition, Food Engineering, Chemistry or a related field. Additional training or knowledge in sustainability or environmental management will be considered an advantage. • Experience in auditing, inspection or health and safety consultancy, preferably within the hotel or tourism sector. • Ability to communicate effectively and deliver practical training to operational teams. • High English level. • Based in Phuket (Thailand) and availability to travel locally and/or internationally as required. • Proactive, organized and resilient profile, with a strong customer focus and attention to detail, resolutive skills and proactivity.
