BOI Senior Officer (Sustainable/ Machinery)

About the role We are seeking a BOI Senior Officer (Smart & Sustainability BOI/Machinery) to join our team on a full-time basis at our Sathon Bangkok office. This is a strategic position within our Environment & Sustainability Consulting division, where you will play a crucial role in supporting clients with Board of Investment (BOI) initiatives related to sustainable practices and machinery modernisation. You will be responsible for providing expert guidance to organisations seeking BOI incentives and certifications, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements whilst maximising the sustainability benefits of their operations. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on corporate sustainability strategies across Thailand and the wider region. Key responsibilities • Advising clients on BOI incentive schemes, particularly those focused on sustainable manufacturing and machinery investment • Preparing and reviewing BOI application documents, proposals and supporting materials to ensure accuracy and compliance with BOI requirements • Conducting sustainability assessments for machinery projects and identifying opportunities for environmental improvement and cost savings • Liaising with BOI officials and other government agencies on behalf of clients to facilitate approvals and certifications • Developing comprehensive project plans and timelines for clients pursuing BOI incentives in sustainable industries • Providing technical expertise on machinery standards, environmental regulations and best practices in sustainable manufacturing • Assisting clients in understanding tax incentives, import duty exemptions and other BOI benefits relevant to their operations • Monitoring changes in BOI policies and environmental regulations to ensure clients remain compliant and informed • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including BOI representatives, government agencies and corporate clients • Preparing reports, recommendations and strategic guidance documents for client presentations and decision-making What we're looking for • Proven experience working with the Board of Investment (BOI) or similar government incentive programmes, ideally in a consulting or advisory capacity • Strong understanding of Thailand's BOI regulations, application processes and incentive schemes, particularly those related to sustainable manufacturing and machinery • Knowledge of environmental regulations, sustainability standards and machinery compliance requirements in Thailand and Southeast Asia • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Thai, with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences • Demonstrated experience in sustainability consulting, environmental compliance or related fields • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail • Ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines • Professional qualifications or certifications in environmental management, engineering or business administration • Experience in automation, machinery procurement, manufacturing processes or industrial operations is highly desirable (leasing business is an advantage) • Strong stakeholder management capabilities and the ability to build effective working relationships with government officials and corporate clients • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and project management tools Qualifications • Gender: Open (Male/Female) • Language: Proficient in English and Thai • Education Required: Bachelor’s degree in engineering industrial, Mechanical, Business administration or related field (good for project documentation, proposal, and coordination) • Experience in BOI-related projects and documentation • Strong B2B sales / client management skills • Ability to create professional proposals and reports • Good understanding of automation and industrial solutions • Able to bridge consulting and sales • Strong communication and problem-solving skills • Capable of managing projects from proposal to execution • Experience in Smart & Sustainability BOI is an advantage • Experience in leasing industries/ business (is an advantage) Apply now To apply for this exciting opportunity, please submit your CV, a cover letter outlining your relevant experience with BOI matters and sustainability consulting, and any professional certifications or credentials to the recruitment team at Jupiter Professional Services Co., Ltd.
